RUSSIAN PEAT COMPANY took 1st place in the “Breakthrough of the Year” nomination for the best innovative project and implemented startup

On May 26, the award ceremony for the winners of the All-Russian annual competition “People of Action” took place in the mansion on Delegatskaya. The competition jury and public experts summed up the results and selected winners in each of seven categories.

Last year, the “People of Action” competition received about 300 applications from approximately 50 regions of the country. Members of the coordination and general councils of Business Russia, as well as entrepreneurs who were not previously part of Business Russia, for example, representatives of X5 Retail Group, supported the competition with their participation. 5 members of the coordinating council and 24 members of the general council took part in the competition.

90 applications were shortlisted for the federal stage of the competition. The jury summed up the results of the competition and identified 21 finalists in the following categories: “Person of the Year”, “Industry Driver”, “Exporter of the Year”, “Breakthrough of the Year”, “Business Lady”, “Young Business”, “Good Cause”.

The Russian Peat Company took 1st place in the “Breakthrough of the Year” nomination – for the best innovative project and implemented startup. The award was received by Dmitry Lipyavko, member of the coordination council of Business Russia, shareholder of Russian Peat Company LLC.

The awards to the finalists and winners of the competition were presented by the Chairman of Business Russia, Alexey Repik, and the President of the business association, Pavel Titov. Alexey Repik noted that the competition has grown significantly over three years, and during this time almost all regions of the country have participated in it. Pavel Titov considers it an important achievement that the “People of Action” competition arouses the interest of entrepreneurs outside of “Business Russia”. “This tradition must be continued. The award could become a kind of entrepreneurial Oscar, at least initially at the Russian level,” he said.
