On October 7, 2020, a specialized meeting on foreign trade activities and technical regulation of the “Business Russia Moscow” committee was held at the World Trade Center. Russian Peat Company LLC (rpc LLC) was presented by the head of the Export sales department, Maxim Tanevsky.
The main topics for discussion were current issues regarding the conduct of foreign economic activity, exports and technical regulation of international trade of Russian exporters in a difficult epidemiological situation.
The main topic of Maxim Tanevsky’s speech was the proposal to include the “Peat” code in the register of subsidized civilian industrial products for export. This idea is explained by the presence of a complex process for processing peat products, undergoing fractionation, changing the acidity of the composition, adding various components, and pressing peat.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Moscow “Business Russia”, Rosakkreditatsiya, the Central Customs Administration of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, the Moscow Business Ombudsman, the customs and logistics company VIG Trans, the accredited certification body “EuroExpert Standard”, Moscow and Russian export centers.
