Information

Properly selected peat soil for cucumbers is one of the most important conditions for obtaining good seedlings.

The proposed peat soil is ideal for growing seedlings of cucumbers, zucchini, squash and other pumpkin vegetables. It is correctly balanced, it contains all the necessary micro- and macroelements.

The structure of the soil is porous, loose, and absorbs water well. The composition contains “live” microflora, the acidity level is closer to neutral.

It is used when growing seedlings, as well as for adding to holes when planting in greenhouses and greenhouses. Can be used for adding under plants during the growing season, as well as to improve the composition of the soil.

Application

When sowing seeds

To sow seeds, fill the seedling container with soil to the very top, then compact it a little and moisten it. When the soil has dropped about 1 cm in the container, use a stick (such as a marker or pencil) to make small indentations and place the seeds there.

In order to get uniform seedlings, the depth of planting the seeds must be equalized. Then the seeds are sprinkled with soil. The soil is lightly compacted and moistened with a fine spray of water from a spray bottle.

When transplanting, picking, transshipment

The selected containers are filled with new nutritious peat soil. Holes form in the ground. The seedlings are removed with a large lump of earth and placed in the holes made. They should be slightly larger in size than a clod of earth.

The seedlings are carefully sprinkled with soil to the desired level. The soil is lightly compacted and watered with warm water at room temperature.
