From September 29 to 30, an international conference and exhibition was held in St. Petersburg as part of the annual Days of Russian Mushroom Growing. The products of Russian Peat Company LLC (rpc LLC) were presented by Dmitry Suvorov, Deputy General Director for Operations.
The Days of Russian Mushroom Growing were held 26 times and were traditionally devoted to the issues of growing, packaging, processing and selling champignons, oyster mushrooms, shiitake and other cultivated mushrooms.
Dmitry Suvorov gave a presentation and spoke in detail about one of the main areas of work of rpc LLC – cover soils, which are ideal for champignons. His presentation also touched upon increasing the productivity of nurseries, berry farms, and greenhouses through the use of rpc LLC products.
In total, the event was attended by 57 Russian companies, representing 80% of domestic mushroom production, as well as suppliers, sellers and buyers of mushrooms, specialists and scientists involved in mushroom technologies. The total number of participants in the Days of Russian Mushroom Growing 2020 was 139 people.
The event was broadcast in Russian and English and was broadcast in 12 countries. There were presentations by a number of speakers from the USA, China, Japan, Switzerland, Ireland, Spain, Poland and the UK.
